As the production manager at the Colonial Theater in Boston, MA, Mercedes knows the hardships that face all arts workers, especially during the season of the COVID-19 pandemic. The great thing is that she's not someone who is woefully sitting around waiting for her situation to improve, she is working the best she can to not only make life better for herself, but also for anyone who is in need of assistance. We talk about that and also ghosts, equality in theater, and the unfortunate backstage shenanigans Mercedes has encountered on the job.
